Incredible Pro Sports Logo Concepts
Maybe I just watch too much Sports Center, but I’m slowly getting tired of the logos of some major sports teams. The Cleveland Browns, for example, don’t even have a logo.
I have collected the following logos that have been done in honor of some major professional sports teams – these logos are not in use, although some of them definitely should be.
I will also say, without a doubt, this Vancouver Canucks logo is probably the best sports logo I have ever seen – see the discussions about it here.

Although there are some really nice logos here, I’m not a fan of the Leafs one. It looks like the Leaf is “shattered” (ahem, kind of like the team right now…) but I don’t think that’s a good message to be portraying.
I agree, the Leafs logo is pretty bad.
Most of these are awesome with the exceptions of the Leafs, Red Wings, Flyers and Raiders. New York is well done but too childish.
I find it interesting that sports logos are always solid color without any gradients, however I noticed the subtle gradients in the Canucks and Vikings logos. I wonder how well the gradients would print. I can’t see them working on a uniform.
Yea the Leaf one isn’t great, but I thought I’d throw it in there anyways. Becky, you couldn’t be more correct about the team right now, so maybe it is fitting.

That red wings logo is the worst thing I have ever seen and it is making me angry you would even think of that piece of shit as a logo. ALthough some of your other ones are good, the canucks one mostly, the original six ones are just awful. These would be great for cartoons, but not hockey jerseys
