A Thank You To Clients

By Carson on October 13, 2009

You all know there are people in the world you cannot stand, and really would rather not work for or with. Instead of focusing on those people or clients today, I want to focus on those that are great.

I’m still relatively new to the freelance design industry so I have not dealt with an abundance of clients yet, but have had my fair share of clients ranging from both ends of the spectrum.

I wish to give a thank you, on behalf of all designers, for allowing us the opportunity to work with you. A good client is the reason we keep designing, and can completely erase a “bad” client from our recent memories. I put “bad” in quotes as it is an ambiguous term. I have a few thoughts on writing a post about some of the potential things that make a client “bad,” but more on that later.

From a simple thank you card to a great testimonial, we as freelancers could not be more grateful, so again, thank you for being great.
